(VICTORIA ROAD SOUTHEND-ON-SEA) (TEMPORARY INTRODUCTION OF NO WAITING AT ANYTIME RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2017 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) Notice is hereby given that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the RoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order To introduce No Waiting at Any Time in Victoria Road:

that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the RoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order

To introduce No Waiting at Any Time in Victoria Road:

On the East Side from a point 13m north of the northern

kerbline of Shaftesbury Avenue northwards for a distance of 7m.

On the west side from a point 7m south of the south kerbline of

Retort Close southwards for a distance of 5m.

The Order will come into effect on 13th November 2017 and

may continue in force for 18 months.

The restr ictions are requ ired for the safety of the publ ic and

workforce to ensure flood prevention access to manholes in

Victoria Road is available at all times.

The prohibitions or restrictions will apply only during such time

and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by

the TRAFFIC SIGNS REGULATIONS AND GENERAL

TRAFFIC SIGNS REGULATIONS AND GENERAL

DIRECTIONS 2016.

Any veh icle wa it ing in contravent ion of any restrict ion/proh ib ition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice and removed under the provisions of the Traffic Management Act 2004.
