(Greensward Lane, Hockley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

(Greensward Lane, Hockley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Greensward Lane, Hockley in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Plumberow Avenue for a distance of approximately 73m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2018 for 2 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (KL136SSV/781/A-090118 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while examination of the structure works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via Greensward Lane, Spa Road, Southend Road, Main Road, Hall Road, Rectory Road, Ashingdon Road, Fambridge Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 23rd November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Barling Road, Barling Magna) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barling Road, Barling Magna in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 240m north of its junction with Barrow Hall Road for a distance of approximately 170m in a notherly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2018 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2234438 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of footway works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Shopland Road, Barling Road, Silchester Corner, Southend Road, Little Wakering Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30th November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Pitsea Bypass, Pitsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pitsea Bypass, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, southbound exit slip road from junction with A13 to Pitsea bypass roundabout, a distance of approximately 175m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th December 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP10000006810 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while upgrading street lighting works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Pitsea Bypass, Southend Road, Five Bells Slip Road From Southend Road Eastbound, Five Bells Roundabout South, Five Bells Link Road, Five Bells Roundabout North, Five Bells Slip Road To Southend Road Westbound, Broadway Link Roundabout and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 23rd November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Pitsea Bypass, Pitsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pitsea Bypass, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, Northbound entry slip from Pitsea bypass roundabout to A13, a distance of approximately 295m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th December 2017 for 1 night, or where stated on a valid permit (EP10000006809 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while upgrading street lighting works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Broadway Link Roundabout, Pitsea Bypass, Hazelmere, Southend Road, Five Bells Slip Road From Southend Road Eastbound, Five Bells Roundabout South, Five Bells Link Road, Five Bells Roundabout North, Nether Mayne, Five Bells Slip Road To Southend Road Westbound and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 23rd November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Various Roads, Borough of Castle Point) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.4) Order 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in Schedule 1.



2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.



"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 9th November 2017, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/ leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Rochford as specified in Schedule 1.
