(St Michaels Road, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Michaels Road, Hadleigh in the
Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Southend Arterial Road to its junction with
Bramble Road, a distance of approximately 709m. The closure is scheduled to commence on
11th January 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231001870 - Castle Point
Borough Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing
and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and
workforce while litter picking works are undertaken by Castle Point Borough Council.
An alternative route is available via Arterial Road, Rayleigh Weir Slip Road From A127 To A129
Westbound, Rayleigh Road, Daws Heath Road, Bramble Road.
The Order will come into effect on 21st December 2017 and may continue in force for
18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Various Roads, Rochford District) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.5) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Rochford as specified in Schedule 1.

2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (County of Essex) (District of Rochford) Consolidation Order 2006" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 7th December 2017, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Laindon Common Road, Little Burstead in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 390m southwest of its junction with Noak Hill Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2018 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005MU1WSEP00IBQWH1MJ02-BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct installation works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Noak Hill Road, Noak Hill Road Roundabout, Bell Hill Roundabout, Southend Road, Sun Street, London Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 7th December 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
