Notice is hereby given that the Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Effect of the order to temporarily close that length of Thorpe Hall Avenue from its junction with Woodgrange Drive and its junction with Willingale Way/Barnstaple Road The closure is scheduled for 21st January 2018 from 10.00 hours to 13.00 hours or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting

The alternative routes will be via Thorpe Hall Avenue, Thorpe Esplanade, Shoebury Common Road, B1016 Ness Road, A13 Ness Road, A13 North Shoebury Road, A13 Bournes Green Chase and Thorpe Hall Avenue and vice versa.Access for Emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained where possible.
The Order will come into effect on 21st January 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst Network Rail undertake cutting back of vegetation in the vicinity of the railway bridge
