(Various Roads, Borough of Castle Point) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.2) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven
days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Castle Point
as specified in the schedule to this Order.
A temporary ‘No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway
on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the
works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be
in force.
“The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and
Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008” will be temporarily amended
to include the temporary ‘No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any
existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only.
All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and
Amendments to that Order shall remain in force
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 26th
April 2018, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will
be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will
be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each
location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet
drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven
days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon
as specified in the schedule to this Order.

(Temporary Suspension of One Way) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven
days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of East Street, Rochford in the District of
Rochford, from its junction with North Street to its junction with Old Ship
Lane, a distance of approximately 81m.
2. To temporarily suspend the one way in Old Ship Lane as detailed in ‘The
County of Essex (Various Streets, Rochford) (One-Way) Order 1968 for the
duration of the closure to allow access to the car park.
The closure/suspension is scheduled to commence on 6th May 2018 for 1 day,
or where stated on a valid permit (ZY024AWH8891 – E S Pipelines Ltd).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing
and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety
of the public and workforce while new gas service works are undertaken by
E S Pipelines Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Stambridge Road, Apton Hall Road, Brays
Lane, Ashingdon Road, Dalys Road, West Street, Bradley Way, South Street and
vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 26th April 2018 and may continue in force
for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Lower Dunton Road, Dunton)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven
days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lower Dunton Road,
Dunton in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 16m north of its
junction with Church Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly
direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th May 2018 for 1 day,
or where stated on a valid permit (AD037RO54624156 – Anglian Water). The
scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/
or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the
public and workforce while replacement manhole frame and cover works are
undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via West Mayne, West Mayne Roundabout,
Southend Arterial Road, Southfield Roundabout, Mandeville Way, Florence Way,
High Road Roundabout, High Road, Kiln Shaw, South Hill, Laindon Road and
vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 26th April 2018 and may continue in force for
18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
