(Spa Road, Hockley) (Temporary Prohibition of Entry & Temporary Introduction of One Way) & Temporary Introduction of No Left Hand Turn & No Right Hand Turn) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily introduce a prohibition of entry from roundabout with Southend Road into Spa Road, Hockley in the District of Rochford.
2. To temporarily introduce a one way on that length of Spa Road, Hockley in the District of Rochford from its junction with Station Road to its junction with the roundabout at Southend Road, a distance of approximately 370m.
3. To temporarily introduce a prohibition of left hand turns from both Brammerton Road and Eldon Way into Spa Road for the duration of the One Way restriction.
4. To temporarily introduce a prohibition of Right hand turn from Meadow Way into Spa Road for the duration of the one way restriction.
The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 23rd July 2018 for 36 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013177139 -Essex and Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while water mains renewal works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water. An alternative route is available via Southend Road, Great Eastern Road, Station Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 22nd May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Great Wheatley Road, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Great Wheatley Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with High Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd June 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034789163 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while street lighting works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via High Road, Ridgeway, Great Wheatley Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 24th May 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
