Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To extend the existing 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on Vernon Avenue and introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on A129 London Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford as specified:
Road Description

Vernon Avenue, EAST SIDE: from a point approximately Rayleigh 15 metres north east of its junction with London

Road, north-eastwards for approximately
5 metres.
WEST SIDE: from a point approximately 15 metres north east of its junction with London Road, north-eastwards for approximately 10 metres.
A129 London NORTH SIDE: from the centreline of its junction Road, Rayleigh with Vernon Avenue, westwards for a distance of approximately 26.5 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 by substituting tile number TQ795 915 revision 5 to revision 6.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 22 June 2018. Further details: A copy of the Order and plans may be examined during normal office hours at County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX. Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Burnt Mills Road, Bowers Gifford and North Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Burnt Mills Road, Bowers Gifford and North Benfleet in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 335m west of its junction with Pound Lane for a distance of approximately 94m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2018 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD038SEW-10960-03 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole construction works are undertaken by Anglian Water An alternative route is available via Burnt Mills Road, Rushley, Tyefields, Rectory Road, London Road, Pound Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 28th June 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
