Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following length of Lower Southend Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon (Our records currently show this length to contain 'No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm' restrictions', however these restrictions were removed on the ground with the installation of the existing Zebra Crossing): Road Description



Lower Southend BOTH SIDES: From centre line of its Road, Wickford junction with The Broadway in a

south-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 36.5 metres.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon District) (Parking and Waiting) Consolidation Order 2008 by substituting tile number TQ745 935 revision 9 to revision 10. Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to remove the Zebra Crossing on Lower Southend Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as detailed below:

Zebra Crossing to be removed: Road Description



Lower Southend The centre point of the existing Road, Wickford crossing is located at a point

approximately 19 metres from centre line of its junction with The Broadway (associated zigzags will be removed).

A pedestrian island will however be installed on Lower Southend Road at a point approximately 6.5 metres from centre line of its junction with The Broadway Further details: A copy of the proposed Order, plans showing the proposal, a Statement of Reasons, a copy of this notice and a copy of the Order to be varied may be inspected during normal office hours at Network Assurance, A2 Annexe Seax House, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford; Basildon Borough Council, The Basildon Centre, St Martin's Square, Basildon and Wickford Library, Market Road, Wickford. (Emergency vehicle access to helipad, Basildon) (Borough of Basildon) (Parking and Waiting) Amendment No. 97 Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Emergency BOTH SIDES: From its junction with

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon District) (Parking and Waiting) Consolidation Order 2008 by substituting tile number TQ705 870 revision 1 to revision 2. Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 7 August 2018.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any

instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose. Dated: 27 July 2018

(Dunton Road, Laindon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

a) To temporarily close that length of Dunton Road, Laindon in the District of Basildon, from its junction with Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 550m in



a westerly direction.

b) To temporarily close that length of Dunton Road, Laindon in the District of Basildon from its junction with Rectory Road to its junction with The Chase, a distance of approximately 470m.



The closures are scheduled to commence on 30th July 2018 for 3 nights (works to take place between 21:00 -06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W0002AUGKSG455EA - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while underground cabling works are undertaken by BT.

Closure a) an alternative route is available via Rectory Road, Botney Hill Road, Billericay Road, Dunton Road and vice versa.

Closure b) an alternative route is available via Dunton Road, Noak Hill Road, Laindon Common Road, Rectory Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 20th July 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hill Avenue, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hill Avenue, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Spinney Close for a distance of approximately 127m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th August 2018 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2251302 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while relocation of zebra crossing work is undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Hill Avenue, Southend Road, Highcliffe Road, Whist Avenue, Beauchamps Drive and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 3rd August 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Jacksons Lane, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Jacksons Lane, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Norsey Road to its junction with Valley Road, a distance of approximately 490m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th August 2018 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2250804 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Valley Road, Hillside Road, Chapel Street, Sun Street, High Street, Norsey

Road.

The Order will come into effect on 3rd August 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
