THE Park Inn Palace hotel in Southend will be turned into a festive wonderland this Sunday, when the Little Theatre Company takes it over to put on a Christmas Fayre.

It's the third time the theatre organisation has held a fayre of this kind, in a bid to raise funds for the Equal People Performing Arts charity.

Not only will the event bring you over 30 stalls of beautiful homemade crafts and gifts, perfect for Christmas shopping, there will also be festive entertainment throughout the day courtesy of Little Theatre Company.

The Kids' Corner includes visits with the big man himself, face painting, popcorn and candy floss and soft play. There will also be a raffle and tombola.

Organiser Laura Harper, said: "We love Christmas at the Little Theatre Company! So it’s only fitting we put on an event like this. The event itself is growing and we’re getting new enquiries from stallholders all the time, all with some really beautifully festive things to present”.

Entry to the event is free.

Doors open at 11am until 3pm.

For more information on the event, including details on some of the stallholders, head over to Little Theatre Company’s Facebook page.

Little Theatre Company will celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2019.

The company has performed over 150 productions. With a reputation for bold staging, award winning performances and lots of talent, it’s no wonder many members have gone on to forge successful careers in theatre and entertainment, including our president, Gemma Craven, Lee Mead and Mark Cotgrove (aka Snowboy).

In 2018, LTC will stage three productions at The Palace Theatre: The Last of the Red Hot Lovers (February); The Full Monty (May) and The Wizard of Oz (November).
