HEY dude! Post Britpop psychedelic rock band Kula Shaker are coming to the Palace Theatre next month.

They have just released their fifth studio album K 2.0 - to much acclaim - and take the UK tour through May.

They stop at the theatre in London Road on Wednesday May 11, with a new single release - Let Love Be (With U) - out on May 27 on Strangefolk.

The track will be available to download and on limited edition 7” vinyl at the shows and online shop.

Kula Shaker came to prominence in the latter half of the Nineties with a number of hits such as Tattva, Hey Dude, Govinda, Hush, and Sound of Drums and their debut album, K, reaching No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart.

The band are known for their interest in traditional Indian music, culture, and mysticism, with a number of their songs featuring lyrics written in Sanskrit with instruments such as the sitar, tamboura and tabla being leant to the tracks.
