BELLE et la Beat - the family friendly afternoon live music session - is back this Sunday.
This time the event is to take place in the beatific surrounding of St Albans Church, in St Johns Road, Westcliff, from 2pm - 5pm.
You'll get a chance to soak up the artful songsmithery of Phil Burdett, who will be playing new and old material ahead of his album launch in the new year; Luna Tebbs is a young performer who is said to captivate audiences wherever she goes; indie rockers Bloom will be playing, fresh from their gigs at Chinnerys and the Purple Festival; Roy Storey of Dr Zod will be taking the opportunity to air a couple of new penned numbers under his solo moniker Medicine Man; Bavard are another young group of singer-songwriters who will be playing some stuff off their latest EP and some new material; Melodie Group will be performing their mesmerising blend of indie guitar hooks and lyrical intrigue and if that's not enough for you Crafting for Foes will be delivering a set of their haunting folk creations.
All that, and there will also be kids activities on offer, a bar, raffle and refreshments.
Entry is free. What's not to like?
