LAST year’s Strictly Come Dancing runner up Danny Mac won a legion of new fans thanks to his fancy footwork on the show.

Now the Hollyoaks actor is preparing to tread the boards in a new production of the smash hit musical, Sunset Boulevard.

Mac will play Joe Gillis in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony Award winning production alongside Ria Jones, as faded silent screen goddess Norma Desmond.

One of the all-time great musicals, Sunset Boulevard is a compelling story of romance and obsession, based on Billy Wilder’s legendary film, with Don Black and Christopher Hampton’s book and lyrics.
