SO 2018 is set to be big business dinosaur wise. Not only is it 25 years since Jurassic Park hit cinemas, yet another blockbuster in the franchise: Jurassic World, Fallen Kingdom, will roar into movie theatres this summer.

There’s also the chance to find out everything you could possibly want to know about our Jurassic friends thanks to a touring show coming to Basildon.

Hosted by Dr Ben Garrod, So You Think You Know About Dinosaurs? Will make a pit stop at the Towngate Theatre in Basildon in March…

The hit stage show takes the audience on an exciting pre-historic adventure as Ben talks you through the deadliest predators that ever roamed the planet. Discover how dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus rex, Allosaurus and Spinosaurus would have walked or swam right where you are now.

Pitting the knowledge of unwitting parents against their all-knowing kids, Dr Ben presents an interactive, educational and highly entertaining show using film footage from the BBC's 'Planet Dinosaur'.

Ben is an accomplished evolutionary biologist, primatologist and broadcaste and has presented a series and several television shows, including Attenborough and the Giant Dinosaur with David Attenborough as well as appearing in Springwatch, in addition to his own six-part series called Secrets of Bones on BBC Four. He has also presented numerous short films on the One Show.

Tickets cost £15.50 for adults, £12.50 concessions. A family ticket (two adults and two children is available for £50). Call the box office on 01268 465465 to book.
