There’s not a single day goes by when I don’t think of you,
And just to feel your hand in mine would be a dream come true,
Although I miss you oh so much and know I always will,
In my heart and in my mind your love is with me still,
My thoughts are with you often and although they make me sad,
They’re coupled with such gratitude for the happy times we had,
Now all that I can do is pray that on some starry night,
I’ll run to meet you in my dreams and once more hold you tight.
The best husband, dad, grandad and friend. We love you and know you’re always with us.
