A FOUNDATION has announced it is giving £10,000 to a young man with two brain tumours who is fighting to stay alive.
Reece Hawley, 21, of Clayhill Road, Basildon, has been appealing to the NHS to pay for life-extending treatment after it cut funding for a drug he needs.
The Tom Bowdidge Foundation, in Colchester, announced this morning it would be donating £10,000 to Reece.
His family and friends are desperately trying to raise £2,000 a week to pay for the life-extending drug.
