Accident blocks road
A LAINDON road is blocked following a crash.
The B1007 Laindon Link in Laindon is blocked at the Great Knightleys junction, because of an accident involving two vehicles.
The accident took place shortly after 5.30pm.
Firefighters cut a man in his forties out of one of the vehicles.
He was taken to Basildon Hospital by ambulance with back injuries.
It is not believed anyone else is injured.
The road was cleared by 7pm.
