POLICE have released CCTV following a spate of thefts in Basildon, Wickford and Billericay.

Basildon Police wish to identify the people in the CCTV and speak to them in relation to theft of items from stores in Basildon, Wickford and Billericay in August and September.

On August 1 at 2pm a suspect entered Clarks Shoe shop in Wickford High street and took an iPad from the docking station.

On August 12 at 10.30am at the BP garage in Radford Way, Billericay, a suspect entered store, took food and left in a silver Ford Focus.

A man and woman entered the BP garage  in Cranfield Park Road, Wickford on August 13 at 8pm. The woman selected items from display, including beer, and left making no attempt to pay.

A member of staff at Staples in Great Oaks, Basildon was pushed on August 15 at 5pm when suspects entered the store and selected items from display. the suspects pushed a member of staff when he challenged them and left the store with an iPad and Notebook computer.

On August 27 at 4.40pm in Superdrug, Willowdale Centre, Wickford. A suspect spoke to staff about make-up for his girlfriend and then later took items from display and left without attempting to pay.

A bottle of vodka was stolen on September 7 at 11.25am in Waitrose, High Street, Billericay. A suspect took a bottle of vodka and placed it within his clothing and left the store making no attempt to pay.

Anyone who recognises them is asked to call the Basildon Retail unit on 101.
