A MAN has been charged with trying to rob Burger King.
Paul Fox-Hetherington, 56, of Old Southend Road, Southend, allegedly stabbed a Burger King worker in the hand as he tried to rob the fast food restaurant in Southend High Street.
The incident happened just before 7am on Saturday, December 6.
He was arrested on Saturday and taken to Southend police station for questioning. He was charged with attempted robbery and causing grievous bodily harm with intent yesterday.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Southend Magistrates’ Court this morning.
