THE family of a pedestrian who died after a road collision in Basildon paid a loving a tribute to him.
David Charles, 44, of Bourne Avenue, Basildon, died in the early hours of Saturday, November 29, after the crash in Cranes Farm Road, Basildon, which involved three vehicles; a silver Renault Clio, a black Ford KA and a black Ford Fiesta.
In a statement issued through police, his family said: "Dave Charles will be greatly missed. He has been taken far too soon.
βHe was a kind thoughtful son, brother, loving father, partner and friend.
"He will always be in our hearts.β
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision.
