THE air ambulance landed in a Hadleigh park after a man collapsed with a suspected heart attack on Friday afternoon.
Police cars and land ambulances were first called to Daws Heath Road, Thundersley, at about 4.20pm following reports a man in his 50s had collapsed.
Paramedics tried to stabilise the man at the scene, before the air ambulance was called in.
It landed at the nearby John Burrows Recreation Ground in Hadleigh and flew the man to hospital.
The man was airlifted to Harefield Hospital in a critical condition.
