Shoebury Boom
A FISHING boat is stuck on a submarine barrier in Shoebury.
The coastguard and lifeboat were called after the angling boat got caught on the boom at East Beach, Shoebury, at about 9.30am on Saturday.
The lifeboat was unable to reach the vessel due to an ebbing tide but Southend Council’s pier and foreshore team established the boat was empty and had drifted from its mooring.
It is still stuck on the boom.
