In response to Ivy Macfarlane's letter Take your choice in local elections (April 20).
I do not know about the other people she mentions, but she obviously does not know Mo Larkin well.
She seems to have followed the political careers of those she mentions very accurately - the letter smacks of Labour politics and spin.
I know Mo Larkin well and she has a heart of gold, working tirelessly for the community whatever party she represents.
She is always willing to help whoever, including young or old, and is still working in our community area although she is not a councillor anymore.
When Age Concern had no home or money, who came forward to help? It was Mo!
She is now Chairman of Age Concern and it prospers and continues to help our elderly residents survive.
Youth Links, is another success story for Mo, helping youngsters face the future with a decent job.
Where are all these caring Labour Councillors for the Lee Chapel North? I can see why Mo has joined the Tories.
