CHILDREN entertained their delighted parents with their production of the Wizard of Oz.
The youngsters - aged between seven and nine - from Willows Primary School, Church Road, Basildon, spent eight weeks planning the two shows.
In the build up to the grand finale, the children prepared by watching the 1939 film, comparing it with the novel, acting out roleplay and studying character profiles.
Teacher Claire Turner said: "They've all put so much work in."
