IT is good news Rayleigh may be getting a carnival again after a gap of 50 years.
At least there will be a few veteran carnival queens around to pass on advice to their successors.
No doubt the first tip will be to avoid the notoriously steep Rayleigh hills.
It would be a shame if the new carnival ran out of puff on its first reappearance.
