Crashes causing rush hour delays on main commuter roads
A CRASHÂ closed a lane of the A127 in Southend this evening.
The eastbound carriageway of Prince Avenue, the A127, was partially blocked at the junction with Rochford Road following a single vehicle crashing into the railings outside the Toby Carvery at around 6.30pm.
Traffic was backing up to the Tesco roundabout but the accident was cleared by around 8pm.
Elsewhere the A13 eastbound was slow at the junction with the A128 after reports of an accident.
The crash was reported to be just after the Orsett Cock junction with traffic slow moving back to the A1089 Dock Approach Road.
