ANIMAL management students at a college scooped four prizes at annual contest encouraging young people to make positive environmental changes.
A group of five teenagers from Seevic College, Thundersley, came together to work to "make the world a better place".
They won four awards at the annual Roots and Shoots awards, including recognition for an awareness campaign about endangered animals and collecting clothes and food for refugees in Calais.
Jacqueline Dullaghan, biology tutor at the college, has been involved with Roots and Shoots for ten years and was keen to start a group at the college.
She said: “Roots and Shoots offer students the opportunity to get this valuable work experience and to make a difference to causes and projects that they are passionate about."
