PSYCHE-rock blues outfit Panther Burns led by their inimitable leader Tav Falco - are coming to the Railway Hotel tomorrow night.
They play a combination of early rock’n’roll, country blues and avant-garde and are said to be "poised and ready to pounce" with an all new tour supporting the release of their tenth album, the Command Performance.
Ramshackle, raw and unholy Tav Falco is noted from being "flamboyant, witty and "dangerous".
The musical performer, performance artist, actor, filmmaker, and photographer has said his main artistic purpose is "to stir up the dark waters of the unconscious."
Recorded in Rome, Command Performance was released by Scottish label TSB Records.
The lineup includes new album producer and guitarist, Mario Monterosso, keyboardist Francesco D’Agnolo, Drummer, Riccardo Colasante, bassist Giuseppe Sangirardi.
They will be supported by Southend rock n blues legend, Steve Hooker.
It takes place upstairs at the pub in Clifftown Road, from 8pm.
Entry is £7.
