A POPULAR brand of ice cream has been recalled by its manufacturer because it may contain small pieces of metal.
Four batches of Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough 500ml ice cream are being recalled as a precaution by Unilever.
No other Ben and Jerry's products are known to be affected.
You can tell if your product is affected by checking the batch code on the bottom of the tub.
Codes L62110L011, L62111L011, L62112L011 and L62113L011 have been recalled.
A spokesman for the Food Standards Agency said: "If you have bought a product with the batch codes listed above do not eat it.
"Instead, dispose of the product and contact the Ben and Jerry’s customer care line on 0800 146 252 with the details written on the bottom of the tub."
