AN inquest into the death of a 27-year-old man who died after being struck by a train will be heard today (Wednesday March 1).
Richard Hobart, from Basildon, was struck on the London-bound track at Pitsea Train Station at about 8.15am on Monday, December 5.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
A post mortem examination gave a provisional cause of death as multiple injuries and said toxicology tests were not possible.
The hearing will take place this morning at Essex Coroner's Court, Chelmsford.
