A school decided to the tables on their pupils to teach them about healthy eating.
Youngsters at Edwards Hall Primary School, in Macmurdo Road, in Eastwood got the chance to have a You Are What You Eat theme day.
Instead of morning classes, the pupils spent the time cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
They spent the morning preparing a three course lunch for their parents, who they also served themselves in the afternoon - and without a frozen ready-meal in sight.
Not forgetting entertainment, there was a lot happening including a raffle.
