TWO teenagers have been arrested in connection with a disturbance in which a man was assaulted.
Police were called just after 8.30pm on May 8 with reports a group of teenage boys had assaulted a 40-year-old man in Butneys, Basildon.
He suffered a broken arm and eye socket.
Two boys from Basildon aged 15 and 16 have been arrested on suspicion of GBH and are currently in custody for questioning.
Enquiries are ongoing to identify other people involved in the incident.
