A SURVEY has revealed Southend Airport is the UK’s second least stressful airport.
Kiwi.com surveyed 1,000 parents with children aged between four and 16 years old. The survey revealed more than three quarters of holidaymakers fall out before they’ve even taken off - with long queues, a lack of wi-fi and too much time waiting around being the most common triggers. For a less stressful experience, travellers are heading to Southend Airport.
A spokesperson for the airport said: “It is great news that this survey shows we are London’s calmest airport, but it comes as no surprise as we work very hard to provide a totally different experience to all other airports.
“ Our unique ‘Simply Easier’ promise to passengers includes short walking distances, outstanding customer service, a lack of queues compared to other London airports, and our own station with up to six trains an hour to and from the heart of London in 45-minutes.”
Birmingham Airport led the poll in the UK overall for a tension-free start to the holiday.
Heathrow was voted the most stressful airport in the UK.
