HULLBRIDGE has been awarded a Merit at the Rural Community Council of Essex Village of the Year Awards 2017.
Every year, villages across the county are invited to submit nominations for the Rural Community Council of Essex Village of the Year Awards by outlining how the efforts of local people strengthen community life and make their village a better place to live. The purpose of the awards is to recognise the beautiful villages of Essex, and celebrate the efforts of local people.
Chairman of Hullbridge Parish Council, Deniz Borg, said: “We are really pleased and proud to be awarded.
“Over the last year we have worked very hard to enhance and make improvements to the village. The judges were very impressed.”
