School prom night
Prince Avenue Primary School ran a Hollywood-themed prom night for pupils at Room 24 in Southend.
Organiser Rebecca Lindsay, one of the parents, said the pupils enjoyed a fabulous night of dressing up and dancing.
She said: “There was a disco, the red carpet walk, fish and chips and a chocolate fountain for the kids.”
Students organised a Teachers Awards night with categories of best actor and actress, leading producer, best director and best-dressed celebrity of the night.
