The 6th Frankie’s Classic Car and Bike Fest proved a great success, displaying a record number of vehicles.
There were more than 500 cars in attendance, including a celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Ford Focus RS and the 25th Anniversary of the Ford Escort Cosworth.
The charity event raised around £18,500.
Event organiser Alan Mason said: “We’re delighted to have raised vital funds for St Francis Hospice from our best-ever Frankie’s Classic Car and Bike Fest, with a huge range of vehicles on display, plus great music and dancing. It looked like everyone was really enjoying themselves”
There was also entertainment from the Hornchurch Jive Bombers, 501s, and Tajinder Sehmbi from the Dhol Academy
One very excited attendee said: “What a fantastic day. This is such a nice show to visit – a superb array of cars and great rock ‘n’ roll music”
