All of the vehicles at the show were classics dating from before the 1990s, all set next to largest antique centre in the region.

Jim Gallie, one of the organisers, said: “It was an absolutely wonderful day. We could not fault it because the weather was brilliant.

“It was our biggest event of the year. We had so many visitors and our exhibits were fully subscribed.

“This was our 31st year hosting the event and we have shows throughout the year which are either only cars or only motorbikes, but this is always our largest event which shows off everything our exhibitors have to offer.”

At the show were a host of car club stands with live music and food stalls offering many different cuisines.

The antiques centre will be hosting more shows in the new year and throughout 2018 with organisers confident they will prove equally popular with motoring enthusiasts.
