Three vehicle crash on A12
The A12 is partially blocked after a crash involving three vehicles.
The incident happened around 2pm and between Junction 13 for and Junction 14 for Margaretting.
As a result, one lane has been closed between those junctions going northbound.
Four ambulances came rushing to the scene of the crash.
A spokesman for East of England ambulance service said: “We were called to reports of a road traffic collision on the A12 at 2.06pm.
“Four ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance officer attended the scene.
"Two patients were taken to Basildon & Thurrock Hospital and two were taken to Broomfield Hospital for further treatment.”
UPDATE: the incident was cleared at around 5:20pm.
