Cherry Tree Primary School pupil Charlie Raymond is the winner of the Betty Finch Speaking Award.
The annual award is a public speaking competition for students to help build their confidence. The competition took place on Monday. Pupils were asked to make speech on the topic of ‘what would be the one thing they would like to change in the world.’
Charlie, 11, was awarded for her speech about not having bullying happening in schools.
