TWO cats have escaped from their foster home.

The devastated foster carer and volunteers of Purrs Cat Rescue centre will be offering a reward for their safe return.

Baloo and Amber, also known as Mowlgi, have been missing for around three weeks from the home in Durham Road, Laindon.

The volunteers of the rescue centre, which has been running since 2015, have been frantically searching for the vulnerable cats, as well as leafleting and talking to local people.

They have urged everyone to check their sheds and garages.

There have been a few possible sightings but no luck getting them back as of yet.

Baloo has a white and black collar on and is friendly, whereas Amber/Mowlgi is shy. Both cats are microchipped.

They are new to the area and are unfamiliar with their surroundings.

The small rescue centre is run by a group of volunteers who are dedicated cat-lovers.

Their aim is to rescue stray and abandoned cats and find their forever homes.

They are cared for in foster homes before being adopted permanently.
