A CHOIR is to return to a Braintree church for the first time in 14 years.
Braintree Choral Society will perform at St. Michael’s Church for the first time since 2003 on Saturday, December 2.
Their concert of Handel’s Messiah, part 1, and a Telemann Magnificat will be accompanied by Sole Bay Strings and continuo.
This quartet of fine, professional musicians will allow the works to be performed in a manner close to the original baroque style.
Four soloists will also be joining the choir for what should be an exciting evening.
Included in the programme are some carols for choir and audience.
The concert starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from R&T’s Café, on Manor Street, in addition to on the door.
