A man has been arrested in connection with two stabbing incidents and for failing to appear in court.
Police arrested a man on Friday November 17, following enquiries into an incident in Chelmsford in May where a man was stabbed and a separate stabbing in Blackthorne Road, Canvey, on Monday November 13.
Benjamin Jerold, 22, of no fixed address, was charged with wounding with intent, threatening a person with a blade and possession of a knife.
He appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on Saturday, November 18, and is now due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday, December 18.
