CELEBRATE: Community groups will visit the library on December 6.
A TOTAL of 15 organisations will attend a civic reception to celebrate 20 years of Braintree library opening.
Braintree Library, Market Place, Braintree, was officially opened in 1997, and the library will be holding a celebration on Wednesday, December 6.
The event has been organised to celebrate the library’s work and its part in the community.
From 10am to 3pm the library will be hosting a community market place, where organisations and library partners from around the district can promote their work.
Among the events will be a baby and toddler rhyme times reunion, for any parent or child who has attended a session in the past, at 11am.
A volunteer and staff reunion will take place at 2pm.
