A BRAINTREE police officer has wished Braintree Police in the US a happy Thanksgiving.
Special inspector Simon Culling, working for the UK's Essex Police, sent officers at Braintree Police, Massachusetts, a heart warming and light hearted tweet.
Thanksgiving took place on Thursday November 23, and originally started as a harvest festival.
The holiday is celebrated by Americans as a national event where friends and family gather together for a meal.
US President Donald Trump took place in the annual tradition of pardoning two turkeys to mark the occasion.
Braintree is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, US, with its own police force.
PC Culling wished the American police force a happy Thanksgiving on behalf of Essex Police.
