Police are no longer looking for Ian Scott in connection with burglaries at pubs in Basildon after police arresting and charged two men.
Ian Dowding, 43, of no fixed address, Epping Forest, and Brian Darmudas, 46, of Parkhurst Road, Manor Park, were charged with two attempted burglaries, nine burglaries, going equipment to steal and conspiring to commit a burglary and are due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on December 22.
Darmudas was also charged with dangerous driving. They have both been remanded in custody.
Both men were arrested in connection with offences at The Winged Horse, in Luncies Road, Basildon, The Five Bells, in London Road, Vange and The Plough and Tractor in Great Knightleys, Basildon, between March 2016 and November 2017.
Police made an arrest following a police pursuit in Honey Lane, Waltham Abbey.
