Travellers have pitched up at Hannakins Farm Community Centre, in Billericay.
There are thought to be about seven caravans and a few other vehicles at the Basildon-council owned facility.
When travellers decide to set up camp at a kids football ground! Hannakins Farm now off limits to players for the next couple of weeks until they can be moved! What’s the chances the Astro will be left in good condition!?!? #Essex #Billericay pic.twitter.com/MvSUu7278p

All Community Meetings are cancelled for a week while they are there.
It is believed that a notice has already been served on the travellers to move them on.
It's not my ward but I believe one of the Billericay West cllrs alerted officers and a notice to quit has already been served. Only heard about it about an hour ago though, so I don't personally know much at this stage.
