It’s all about Lambing Live at Barleylands Farm Park this February half term.

We’re gearing up for one of our busiest times of year on the farm – and with lots of new arrivals due to make an appearance, this promises to be a perfect day out for all the family.

With 60 ewes expected to lamb over the course of the week, Lambing Live runs this February half term break from Saturday 10th to Sunday 18 February.

Barleylands’ Chris Philpot explained: “Everyone here is really looking forward to Lambing Live week, which will bring children of all ages along to the farm to experience one of the wonders of nature. There’ll be lots to do for the whole family, including a chance to take part in lamb bottle feeding inside the Animal Barn, question and answer sessions with our shepherds, meeting the new baby lambs and decorating sheep biscuits. With 60 ewes expected to give birth during the week, you may hopefully see some lambing in action.”

Chris added: “We’ve listened to our visitors and we’re now extending our February half term activities to include both weekends of half term, taking place daily from Saturday 10th to Sunday 18th February. It’s going to be popular so pre-book your tickets now – we can’t wait to see you and show you Lambing Live on the farm.”

Don’t miss the hour-long shepherding sessions, come armed with questions for the farmers, ready and able to help you with everything you ever wanted to know about our lambs!

Plus there’s all the usual activities to enjoy around the Farm Park, including bumpy tractor rides, ball blasting, large indoor play barn, cargo nets and super slides.
