Old shop front -
THE Dogs Trust, which has a base in Wickford, is working to preserve a historic shop front which was uncovered during renovations.
The charity is refitting a former cycle shop in Brentwood High Street when the old Alec Henderson shop sign as well as original tiles were uncovered.
The charity has worked with Brentwood Council to preserve the sign, which dates back many years.
The shop will officially open on Friday.
