SOUTHEND United manager Chris Powell feels facing bottom of the table Bury will be a tougher test than League One leaders Wigan Athletic tonight.
The Shrimpers beat table-topping Wigan 3-1 at Roots Hall on Saturday.
But Powell is expecting an even harder match against the Shakers.
“This game is harder than Wigan at home, it really is, because the expectation of everyone is that we should win, but it’s not like that,” said Powell.
“Bury have picked up recently and they have a decent squad, so we have to attack this game with even more focus.
“We must be wary of their strengths and what they can do, but we know if we carry on the way we have been that we will give any team in this League problems.”
