THE crowd who'll be going along to the reputable Annie's Jazz club next Tuesday, are going to be 'jazzed' to know the Red Stripe Band are going to appear.

The band, who are enjoying their 23rd year in the biz, has just seen their latest release - Soho Surprise - reach number 10 in the London Jazz Charts.

Their songs used on radio and TV alike, including via an endorsement by Papa Jouhns, the US pizza giant.

They have played at just about every jazz and blues festival in the UK and all over the world at festivals, clubs and parties. They have performed for the Royal Families of five countries and have shared stages with Sting, Madonna, Van Morrison, Eddi Reader and Chris Barber. In 2010 they picked up the Best Newcomer Award at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2010.
