Due to a lorry hitting a railway bridge at Hockley all lines on the Greater Anglia route between London and Southend are blocked.
Disruption is expected until 6pm.
Train services between London Liverpool Street and Southend Victoria may be cancelled, delayed or terminated at and started back from Wickford.
Network Rail advise that a lorry has hit a railway bridge between Hockley and Rochford and is currently stuck under the bridge.
All trains have been stopped from passing over the bridge until a Network Rail engineer attends and makes a safety check of the bridge structure, to ensure no damage has occurred.

The Network Rail engineer is expected at the location of the bridge by 3.50pm.
C2C are conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice.
Arrangements have been made for Greater Anglia rail tickets to be accepted for these journeys.
Spa Road/Greensward Road is also blocked between Plumberow Avenue and Station Approach.
